Grade V-CV Chain (JIS-B 8812 Standard)

Grade V-CV Chain (Japanese Standard) is alloy steel chain with approximately 25 % higher strength than grade T (Japanese Standard). Grade V-CV chain is primarily used as a sling component for overhead lifting, and can be used for all the same applications as Grade M and T. The chain link is marked every 3 feet with TKC and CV in order to identify manufacturer and grade. Carburizing is used afterward to increase the surface hardness of the chain. Grade V-CV chain is tested proof load, bending deflection with Open Crosshead Computer Servo Hydraulic Universal Testing Machine and tested hardness with Digital Rockwell Type Hardness Tester. Lastly, chain is calibrated to the dimensional requirements for properly size. Grade V-CV chain is manufactured to meet Japanese Standard JIS-B 8812 specification.
